La Redoute

La Redoute is a french style website that wants to make French fashion available for everyone. La Redoute Is the second largest women’s fashion seller in France with more than 7 million unique visitors a month. It operates in over 26 countries and has over 10 million active accounts. La Redoute was founded in 1837 by Joseph Pullet who moves to the capital of the French wool region and opened the first spinning operation inventing multiple processes. In 1872 his son Charles took over the business and built a factory on rue de La Redoute and later decided to name the company after the road the factory was located on ‘La Redoute’. The business was sold in 2014 to its current managers Nathalie Balla and Eric Courteille who have helped it grow to be the huge retailer it is today.
