Anyone who buys jewellery in the UK should be aware of the high street chain of jewellers, H. Samuel. If you have questions about products and services or need help, here are some ways to contact H. Samuel.
H. Samuel is a jewellery shop chain named after Harriet Samuel, who ran her father-in-law’s silversmith business. Her son opened the first H. Samuel retail shop in 1890. More stores followed and by 1948 the company joined the London Stock Exchange. Today, there are more than 300 H. Samuel stores in the UK. The brand is part of Signet Jewellers Ltd, the largest jewellery retail group in the world. The e-commerce website for H. Samuel launched in 2005, and their stores are familiar on the high street. Customers often rely on H. Samuel for wedding jewellery or gifts. They also sell collectibles for all ages, and smartwatches.

Express delivery can arrive the next day, or in 2 days, depending on when you place the order. You can get free standard delivery on orders between £49 and £199, or free express delivery on orders above £500. Orders can also go to any H. Samuel store for collection within 4-8 days. Jewellery for piercings must be sealed and not worn. You can take items to any UK store as long as you have the receipt or despatch note. Selecting a piece of jewellery for someone is a wonderful way to show that you know them. However, if you worry about whether they will like it, opt for a gift card instead. You can make someone feel special with a gift card to treat themselves at H. Samuel. You can add any amount in increments of £10 up to a maximum of £200. Choose a design online and order for home delivery or pick one up instore. Call the number to the left if you have any questions about using a gift card. This includes redeeming, checking balances, and topping up. Unfortunately, H. Samuel does not offer e-gift cards right now, but you can call to enquire.
H. Samuel offers a variety of additional services besides just selling jewellery products. You can choose to engrave a product as a gift for an extra fee. This costs £21 for the inside of a ring or £16 for other items. If you want to make it even more personal, you can design a piece yourself. You can design new jewellery or bring in an old favourite for resetting or restyling. If your watch needs adjusting or servicing, you can take it back to H. Samuel for a repair. The same goes for jewellery if it needs re-threading or re-plating or another repair. Repairs can take weeks with varying costs. Call the number to the left to check the progress of a service.
When you experience an issue with a H. Samuel product, contact customer services first. If they do not fix the issue to your satisfaction, call the number to the left to make a formal complaint. You should complain about poor workmanship if your jewellery is not of the quality you expect. For example, if a piece is damaged too easily, or stones fall out. Complain about repair services if the item of jewellery looks completely different when they return it. You can complain about poor customer services in stores, especially if they misadvise you on things like plating. Report your issue to Trading Standards if H. Samuel doesn’t resolve it properly.
