In the UK, driving tests are organised with the DVLA which is the Government department of Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency. This department also looks after provisional licences, driving lessons, vehicle tax, issuing driving licences and most vehicle-related matters. When you first organise your driving test you must contact the DVLA via their website and organise a date and time for your test appointment which will take place at the nearest testing centre to you. When booking or changing a driving test appointment you need your UK driving licence number as well as your test reference number or your theory test pass certificate.

Changing Your Driving Test Appointment Via Phone Call

You can change your test appointment up to 6 times but if you need to change it a seventh time you will need to cancel your appointment and rebook it. You need to give at least 3 working days’ notice to receive a refund and you will have to pay for the next text you book if you cancel your test appointment. You need to give 3 working days’ notice also if you want to change your appointment or you will need to pay again for the appointment.
