80s Casual Classics

80’s casual classics was established in the late 80’s as music promotors for the ‘indie’ genre, influenced by the stone roses and oasis. They launched their first shop called ‘Planet Clothing’ in 1993 selling Adidas shoes and parka jackets along with many other clothing items that were influenced or taken from the Manchester band look. They often had visits from Oasis and the Gallagher brothers often bought many of their vintage items. The shop expanded in the following decade to have 4 successful locations and in 2006 they began selling some of their items through their eBay store such as fila vintage pieces.

Their business took off after the ‘retro revival’ from the release of ‘the business’ in 2005 which featured many clothing items from the stockist and brought the company many new younger customers. In 2009 they launched the 80s casual classics website creating a strong platform for the sales of their pieces. Deliveries

80s casual classics offer multiple options for the deliveries of their goods. The Uk standard delivery for small good such as some t-shirts and accessories costs £2.50. For larger or multiple items standard UK delivery costs  £3.95 and there are no extra charges for multiple items. All orders above £74.95 in the UK are applicable to be upgraded for first class delivery with no extra charge. For next working day delivery with DPD, it is £5.95 and available from Monday – Thursday before 4 pm. Saturday delivery is £9.95 per order and must be purchased before 3.30pm on Friday. Sunday delivery is also £9.95 per order and must be placed before 3.30pm on a Friday.  For goods being delivered to some parts of the EU it is £7.95 and for the rest of the world it is £14.95, for countries outside of the EU your items should be delivered within 7-10 working days, although purchasing from outside the EU means you will not have to pay VAT charges you will be charged for local customs or import costs when your package reaches your country, 80s casual classics do not have any control over these charges. All deliveries require somebody to sign for the package if this was not able to happen at the time of delivery the delivery service will post a notice through your door in which you can rearrange a delivery or pick up your parcel from your local post office branch. Returns

If you are unhappy with the items when they arrive or they are the wrong size you can either exchange or return your the items for a refund. To exchange the goods you will have to go onto the website and re-order the item in the correct size/colour and then proceed to return the original item you bought for a refund. To return an item you will need to send it back within 10 days of receiving it if you are in the UK, for EU or worldwide customer you must send the item back within 14 days of it arriving. If the item you have ordered comes in a box do not cello tape the box, write on it or stick things onto the box as all items must be returned in the original condition for a full refund to be issued. You must return the goods to Returns Department, PO Box 1370, Bedford, MK40 9DB if you’re posting the item normally. If you are sending the return item through a courier you will need to call the number above to receive a different address for the package as couriers will not deliver to the PO box address. You can also call that number if you have returned your package and heard nothing back or if you are struggling to return your package and need help or have some questions.
