About Wizz Air

Wizz Air is a Hungarian airline, serving 42 countries. The first Wizz Air flight was in 2004, from Katowice to London Luton. Today, Wizz Air operates over 500 routes from 27 bases at airports around Europe. Millions of passengers utilize the low-cost flights to Europe and the Middle East every year. Wizz Air opened its UK base at London Luton airport in 2017, also introducing some new routes. These include flights to Tel Aviv in Israel and Pristina in Kosovo. The parent company Wizz Air Holdings, based in Jersey, joined the London Stock Exchange in 2015. Wizz Air also updated its branding and aircraft livery for its eleventh anniversary.

Customer Services

Contact Wizz Air customer services on the number to the left at any time, whenever you have questions or even problems. Call to make a booking over the phone, or get help with how to book online or using the mobile app. Contact Wizz Air about payment methods if there is an issue with completing a booking. You can also call Wizz Air to discuss their partner services. These include travel insurance, hotels, car rental, transfers to and from airports or airport parking, and even a WIZZ Credit Card with automatic membership for the WIZZ Discount Club. Find out how to book third-party services like these along with your Wizz Air flight booking.

Existing Bookings

When you contact Wizz Air about an existing booking, make sure you have your details ready to give to the phone agent. These include your confirmation number, details of all passengers, the route and the date of your flight. Call the number to the left if you have any questions about a booking you have made. You can change your reservation online or by phone up to 3 hours before the flight departure time. This includes changing the flight itself, changing a passenger, or amending additional services. This will obviously incur extra fees. You must inform Wizz Air at least 48 hours before departure if you need to arrange any special assistance.

Group Bookings

Group bookings with Wizz Air give you the benefit of a fixed price for everyone in the group. You can also change passenger names up to 72 hours before a flight, or add new passengers up to 30 days after initially booking. Groups can be as small as only 2 people. However, group fares do not include fees for baggage, check-in, other airport services, or special promotions. Student groups and senior groups with 11 or more passengers can get a 20% discount with a group booking. Call the number to the left if you need help with paying in instalments for a group booking. You can also call and pay additional fees if you need to change dates.

WIZZ Services

Standard flight tickets are low-cost, but there are lots of optional extras with Wizz Air. You can pay for the convenience of Security Fast Track and the luxury of access to the Exclusive Lounge. Guarantee that your hand luggage stays in the cabin by purchasing WIZZ Priority. The annual Privilege Pass is available, which includes Priority plus seat selection. Or you can join the WIZZ Discount Club with a standard membership or group membership, depending on your number of travel companions. This will give you access to lower prices for tickets and baggage. Call the number to the left for WIZZ Services, including bookings with Wizz Flex.

Cancellation & Refunds

Call the number to the left if you want to cancel your flight. You can do this up to 2 weeks before the flight and pay a cancellation fee of 60 euros to get a refund. If you cancel within 2 weeks, the cancellation fee is 80 euros and additional services are not refundable. This is why it is a good idea to book flexibly with WIZZ Flex. If Wizz Air delays or cancels your flight, they should either put you on a comparable flight, provide a full refund, or credit your Wizz Air account with the full fare plus 20%. They should also reimburse you for the cost of communications to arrange this. Call Wizz Air in the event of flight delays or denied boarding.

Complaints

You can submit a complaint claim online through your Wizz Air account, but it could take 30 days for them to address it. If you require an urgent resolution to your complaint, call Wizz Air on the number to the left instead. The reason for your complaint could be delays, cancellations, loss of luggage or damage, poor customer service, check-in problems, or additional fees. If Wizz Air does not help you this way, then try complaining through Resolver. Allow eight weeks for them to respond, then if they don’t or it is unsatisfactory you can escalate complaints to the European Online Dispute Resolution with the e-mail address odr@wizzair.com.

Other Ways to Contact Wizz Air

Wizz Air’s premium rate phone numbers can be a concern, but they are the fastest way to fix an issue. The next best way to contact Wizz Air is by using social media. They should be quicker to reply on Facebook or Twitter, especially if you make a very public complaint. Otherwise, e-mail info@wizzair.com with enquiries and wait for a response. You can e-mail specialassistance@wizz.air.com if you have special requirements. Press enquiries can go to wizzairukpressoffice@fticonsulting.com. If you just want to check the status of your flight, you can do this online. E-mail the recruitment team at cabin.crew@wizzair.com regarding jobs.
