If you prefer to book your flights, hotels, and package holidays through third parties, maybe you know of eDreams. Many people who make bookings find themselves needing to contact eDreams, so here is how.

About eDreams

The online travel agent eDreams is one of the brands under the European travel agency group eDreams Odiego. The others include Opodo, Travellink, Liligo, and GO Voyages. The eDreams brand operates its customer services team out of Barcelona at this address: Vacaciones eDreams S.L., Passeig Zona Franca, 191-205, 08038, Barcelona, Spain. The company dates back to 1999 and has been the recipient of a lot of public backlash over the years. According to their numbers, eDreams offer more than 150,000 flights from over 500 airlines, travelling to 40,000 destinations. Their aim is to offer the most competitive travel prices.

Customer Services

Contact eDreams customer services on the number to the left with your general queries. Before you book, find out more about additions and guarantees which could protect your booking. These include the Standard, Premium, and Basic service options, and the Flexible Travel Dates Guarantee. Find out how to book for a child, including babies or teenagers. Get help with special assistance requests or get advice on check in or baggage for your flight. Contact customer services if your flight is delayed or you miss a connecting flight. You can also call for technical assistance if you experience problems with the website or the eDreams app.

Booking

You can make a booking yourself online, or call the number to the left to make a booking over the phone. Maybe you know exactly which flight, hotel, or package you want to book. Even if you just want to see what may be available for a particular destination, an adviser can locate the best options for you. You must provide your passport details and payment details in order to complete the booking. Provide your e-mail address so that you can receive an e-mail confirmation and any electronic tickets. Call to check on the status of a booking if you don’t have any confirmation or the payment does not seem to have left your bank account.

Changes

In between booking and the travel dates, you might find that you need to amend your booking. If the plans do change, call the number to the left to make amendments. Budget tickets generally do not allow changes, so it depends on the conditions of your booking. If you need to swap flights or add another passenger, you will have to pay the difference in price plus an administration fee. Fares may have increased since the time of booking, so there is that to consider as well. If you need to change a name, usually you must simply cancel and rebook, at the risk of extra charges. Contact eDreams if the airline makes a change to their schedule.

Cancellation

Make sure you check the terms and conditions before booking, as these will determine your cancellation rights. Often, you will not be entitled to a refund if you decide to cancel your booking. If your flight is with a budget airline, you may have to contact them directly to cancel. Some flights advertise free cancellations, but this is only possible that same day during office opening hours. You can pay to add the Cancel for Any Reason Guarantee at the time of booking to protect your purchase. This will entitle you to a refund minus 20% of the travel cost if you do cancel. Call the number to the left if you need to discuss a booking cancellation.

Refunds

You can usually only get a refund from eDreams if the airline or hotel cancels a booking without providing an alternative, or you cancel a refundable ticket yourself. However, most budget tickets sold by eDreams are not refundable. Call the number to the left to request a refund for your booking. As they are an intermediary, eDreams puts a refund request to the airline on your behalf. Unfortunately, it can take up to 3 months for a refund claim to process. It could even take longer in some cases where it is necessary for them to collect more evidence. The airline might apply a penalty fee, and eDreams usually charges an administration fee.

Complaints

Call the number to the left to make a complaint to eDreams about their services. If you had a poor experience and feel you deserve a refund or compensation, file a complaint with every party involved. This could be the airline, hotel, or both. Report problems caused by customer services, including overcharging, booking failure, or lack of notifications and contact from eDreams. You should start the complaints process before you return from the trip. You can try contacting the head of UK customer services by e-mail and escalate to the CEO of eDreams Odiego, at jackie.dunn@odigeo.com and dana.dunne@odigeo.com respectively. If you are unable to get a satisfactory response from eDreams, try complaining through a platform like Resolver.

Other Ways to Contact eDreams

For customers dealing with eDreams in the past, they have been infamously difficult to contact. Your best bet is a phone call, of course, but you can always try online. There is a live chat bubble to the bottom right on their website. You can also contact eDreams on social media. If you have a complaint, posting it all over their Facebook or tagging @eDreams_en might get their attention since they want to avoid bad press. The availability of the customer services team is shown on the account pages. They don’t have a public e-mail address, but you can try e-mailing the parent company at Customer-Care@odigeo.com. You can also write to the subsidiary Opodo office in the UK, or request an appointment and visit them in person if you can do so. There are separate eDreams websites for their advertising services and recruitment if you want a job.
